This was sent to me by the much loved staff and I wanted to share with you: Dear Carole, I unfortunately have to write with some disappointing news following the serious problems we experienced with our hosting service provider at the beginning of January. The nature of the problem meant that we had to recover and then rebuild our system before being able to change to a new hosting company. This proved very difficult and we have had to use our own back ups to help restore all tributes. As a result, some contributions added up to 48hours before the hosting problem occurred could not be recovered and I am sorry to say that your tribute to Jonathan was slightly affected by this. We have been able to run checks for you to identify the specific contributions affected on your tribute and this relates to one thought added by Naz Amin naz_083@hotmail.com on 3rd January just before the server problem occurred. Whilst I hope that you can restore this item on your tribute I appreciate that this may not be easy and I feel absolutely awful about this. We would really like to do whatever we can to try to make some kind of amends and would like to upgrade your tribute with some more memory space for you so that you can easily add more music and pictures if you want. I appreciate this is just a small gesture but I hope it can help convey some of my personal dismay and regret that the hosting problem has affected you in any way. Please just email me back if you are happy for me to do this. We have been taking immediate steps to ensure all systems are reviewed so that a problem like this can never repeat and once again I am sending my deep and sincere apologies that you have been affected as a result. We have also been working to change host provider as quickly as possible and we should be in a position to resume service for you at http://jonathan.tidwell.muchloved.com within the next few hours.
